Illawarra Mercury: Single new officer begins policing career in Wollongong

One of the 204 new probationary constables to join the NSW Police Force this month is launching their career in the Wollongong police district.

The class of new police officers were sworn in at an attestation ceremony at the NSW Police Academy in Goulburn on Friday.

They will undertake a year of on-the-job training and complete an associate degree with Charles Sturt University before they are confirmed to the rank of constable.
