A man has been taken to hospital after an alleged confrontation with police officers at a home in Airds this morning.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said officers attended the home on Faithful Place about 9.40am to “make inquiries”.
“Police will allege the man armed himself with a knife,” the spokeswoman told the Advertiser.ADVERTISING
“Officers spoke to the man for some time before entering the home and arresting him at about 10.40am.
“A taser and OC [capsicum] spray was deployed during the arrest.
“The man was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for assessment.
The spokeswoman said the the next steps for NSW Police officers would depend on the outcome of the man’s hospital assessment today.
The police have no further information available at this time.
