Open Letter to the Commissioner: Tyranny of Government, or Best Interests of the People? So begins a letter from a Traffic and Highway Patrol cop.
What was Traffic and Highway Patrol cop Senior Constable Alexander Cooney doing sending an email at 1am to the entire police force questioning NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller’s response to the COVID pandemic?
The email — which had the subject line Open Letter to the Commissioner: Tyranny of Government, or Best Interests of the People? — questioned the threat of COVID-19, the lockdowns and cautioned NSW Police against forcing its officers to vaccinate the public against the virus.
“Many members of the force are fed up with the approach to enforce oppressive rules placed upon the population in the name of COVID-19 and the looming mandatory vaccination,” the six-page open letter stated.
“We feel a real calling to do our part to stop the oppression.”
Constable Cooney argued that police officers should have a choice when it came to mandatory vaccinations and shouldn’t be used to enforce any vaccines in the community.
He also sought to: “raise the alarm that a global dictatorship is occurring and the police force is being used as a tool to push these global and corporate agenda upon the population.”
